The HoE is currently ran by none other than the Texas sized Barbie doll herself, Alyssa Edwards. Her drag mother is former drag queen Laken Edwards. Alyssa stationed the HoE in her hometown, Mesquite, Texas where she has her very own dance studio. Mother to many great queens such as Shangela Laquifa Wadley and Laganja Estranja, Alyssa raised her drag children to be great dancers and pangeant queens. ALyssa is always looking to stretch to domain of the HoE, so she has picked up new drag children along the years such as Gia Gunn and Plastique Tiara.

The queens above are only some of the sickening members of the house of Davenport. This great family draws its roots from Dallas, Texas (Oak Cliff specifically). The head of the house, Kelexis Davenport, frequently performs at the legendary Rose Room. This performance hall is where many of queens became associated with this giant family.

The Roots

All of these queens have one place in common, Muther’s bar in Rochester, New York. Owned by Naomi Kane, this bar was a hub for Rochester queens years ago. This community of queens are unique because they have all of Rochester’s diverse art scene to draw from. According to Mrs Kasha Davis, Naomi Kane was a tough mother, but she built a community of strong queens that help one another. This family definitely inherited their mother’s diva side, and with that came the gigantic hair.
